Cantab colleagues took to the streets of an exceptionally rainy Cambridge on Sunday 22 September to run in the ‘Chariots of Fire’ charity relay race, which looped around many beautiful and iconic city sights. Although the weather conditions were challenging, the Cantab team achieved a time of 1:08:41 to place a commendable 21st out of the 255 teams who took part.
Since its inception more than 30 years ago, the Chariots of Fire event has raised in excess of £1.5m for local charities, with this year’s race in aid of the Magpas Air Ambulance charity. The fundraising total stands at nearly £26k and is still rising – well done to all participants for such a fantastic effort.
