Cambridge beat Oxford in 135th Varsity Match

An extremely hard-fought match hung in the balance at 13-13 with 68 minutes on the clock, when strong play from Cambridge saw them score a late penalty and try to see off a valiant Oxford team.

The victory is Cambridge’s first since 2009, when they beat Oxford 31-27, and follows their recent success in the historic Steele-Bodger fixture.
