More than two thousand runners came together for the Chariots of Fire Race in Cambridge at the weekend.  Congratulations to the Cantab Asset Management team who took part, raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK. They finished in the top quarter with a time of 1:11:48.

The race was started at Queen’s Green by the event’s Honorary President Sir Michael Marshall (son of Sir Arthur Marshall who took part in the 1924 Olympics alongside Abrahams and Liddell). The route passed through several colleges including Trinity, Kings and Clare and historic city streets.

All money raised through Chariots of Fire will support a vital project at the University of Cambridge exploring why people with Down’s syndrome develop Alzheimer’s.

Cantab Asset Management congratulates everyone who took part and helped to raise money for charity.
