Our Team

Toby is both a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Chartered Financial Planner. He also holds the Investment Management Certificate, the Certificate in Advanced Mortgage Advice and is an ACCA affiliate.

After reading Natural Sciences at Durham University, in 2001 Toby joined the Investec graduate programme. He has been working with private clients for many years.

Toby loves spending time with his young family and now watches rather than plays rugby.

After graduating from the University of Bath with a BSc in Economics, Diana completed an MPhil in Environmental Policy at the University of Cambridge before joining Cantab. Having grown up in rural Lincolnshire, Diana is a keen horse rider, eventing to international level, and a lover of all things outdoors. When time permits, Diana enjoys playing hockey and netball.

Diana holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Cristina trained with Santander Bank and has been advising private clients for many years. Cristina is a Chartered Financial Planner and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Law from Babas Bolyai University.

Cristina enjoys skiing, cycling and squash.

Leah read Economics at Newnham College, Cambridge before starting her career with Orbis Investment Advisory in London where she provided equity investment recommendations for a Global fund. Leah completed an MPhil in Economic History at Darwin College, Cambridge where she enjoyed playing Varsity golf and real tennis.

Leah is a CFA Charterholder, is a Chartered Wealth Manager, and holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Will has extensive experience in business development and marketing. Prior to joining Cantab, Will worked in international development, was co-founder of two social ventures and has also launched a number of successful FMCG brands.

In his spare time, Will enjoys current affairs, football, long walks and exploring new and distant places.

Toby studied Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia. His interests include tennis, cycling, classic cars and photography.

Prior to joining Cantab, Pippa held roles in Marketing, Investment Writing, Sales, and Operations at global asset management firms including Ninety One (Investec) and Janus Henderson. She gained an MA in Oriental Studies followed by an MPhil and PhD in Archaeology at Selwyn College, Cambridge. Pippa has also worked as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Cambridge, and as a copy editor and proofreader.

In her free time, she enjoys learning new languages, visiting museums and galleries, and water sports.

Jack is a Chartered Financial Planner who joined Cantab having obtained a degree in Sport Science from Loughborough University.

Jack competed as a national level swimmer and still enjoys swimming in his free time and watching football.

Monique holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Information Systems and Accounting from the University of Cape Town. She worked for several years in the digital communications sector as Finance Officer before moving to England and joining the University of Cambridge Unified Administrative Services for 14 years, initially as a Financial Adviser but finally as Head of Research Operations.

Monique enjoys running, long coastal walks, gardening and reading.

Liam is a Chartered Financial Planner who joined Cantab after graduating from the University of Nottingham with a BSc in Economics. He enjoys spending his time playing, and more recently watching, rugby and his other interests include skiing and squash.

Jeremy has been advising private clients and companies for many years and has been the Managing Director of one of the antecedent firms – 35 Finance. Jeremy read Natural Sciences at Magdalene College, Cambridge and holds a Ph.D in Genetics and Plant Breeding. Jeremy is a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Chartered and Certified Financial Planner. Prior to Cantab, Jeremy worked in South America and Africa for the World Bank and Unilever. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and enjoys sailing, music and gardening.

Dominic Dunster read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Warwick. After working in Partner Support in the City, he joined the Cantab grad programme. Dominic holds the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

In his spare time, Dominic plays rugby, is a passionate West Ham supporter and a keen cook.

Before joining Cantab, Hugh worked as a Tax Adviser. He is ATT qualified and studied International Relations at the University of Southampton, graduating in 2018.

In his spare time, Hugh enjoys Aikido (martial arts) and football.

Oscar previously worked as a Financial Planning Administrator. He holds the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning together with J10 (Discretionary Investment Management). He graduated from the University of Manchester with a Master’s degree in Chemistry in 2021.

Oscar’s hobbies include football, rugby, and hiking.

Edward is a Chartered Wealth Manager and Chartered Financial Planner advising private clients and trustees.

Edward worked previously for Lloyds Bank and has experience in the biotechnology industry having graduated with a degree in Biomedical Science from Cardiff university.

In his spare time, Edward enjoys playing sports and taking trips away with his family.

Antonia holds a BA in Russian from the University of Durham and an MPhil in Soviet Cinema from the University of Cambridge. During her studies, she spent a year abroad in Russia where she studied at the University of Tomsk, Siberia, and worked in financial journalism in Moscow. Antonia is fluent in Russian and is also a native French speaker. In her free time she enjoys running and sailing.

Antonia holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

James is a Chartered Financial Planner. James studied Investment and Financial Risk Management at Cass Business School, London, and his interests include playing rugby, skiing and kitesurfing.

Marina has many years’ experience in the financial services sector both in the UK and in Latvia. Marina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and holds the Professional AAT Diploma. Marina is currently working towards the ACCA qualification.

Marina enjoys an active life, travelling and exploring new places, swimming and pilates.

Beth studied Business and Finance at the University of Lincoln.

Her hobbies include playing table tennis and she served as Vice President of the Table Tennis Society whilst at university.

Stefano studied Mandarin Chinese and International Relations at Nottingham Trent University, and joined Cantab with experience in the industry. Originally from Italy, Stefano loves to visit new countries and learn about different cultures. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting and gaming.

Stefano holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Judith started her career working for a multinational in London in the Human Resources Division. She is PA to our CEO and coordinates our event management and recruitment. She is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Tom holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham. In his spare time, he enjoys running, swimming and weightlifting.

Harry is a Chartered Financial Planner who joined Cantab having read Geography with Economics at the London School of Economics. Alongside his studies, Harry has helped in his family’s businesses. Harry is a sports enthusiast, he particularly enjoys playing football.

David has been giving investment and financial planning advice for many years as the principal of Saunderson House of which he was Chief Executive for twenty four years and then subsequently with Cantab and its antecedents. David read engineering at Downing College, Cambridge and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1979. David serves as a trustee of several charities and enjoys skiing and tennis when time allows.

David is a Chartered Accountant and holds the Investment Management Certificate of the CFA. He read Geography at Downing College, Cambridge. David loves cricket, walking and travelling to ‘off the beaten track’ destinations.

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Manchester.  Prior to joining Cantab, Stuart worked on large public and private sector projects including 11 years at Morgan Stanley where he was an Executive Director in Investment Banking and Private Wealth Management. Stuart has also worked for several start-ups to bring products to market.

In his spare time, Stuart enjoys cooking, cycling, swimming and exploring new places with family.

Lionel is a Chartered Financial Planner and holds an economics degree and an MBA from HEC School of Management.

Lionel brings a wide experience of financial markets, analysis and strategy having previously worked for Morgan Stanley in London and Hong Kong, before moving to BlackRock.

Lionel is fluent in French, less so in Spanish and enjoys sailing, skiing and Crossfit.

Mark has 25 years’ experience in global equity and multi-asset investing, with much of this time spent at Investec Asset Management, and prior to that UBS Wealth Management and Cavendish Asset Management.

Mark studied at the London School of Economics and London Business School, and is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association.
